Cash Shop Review: The cash shop allows you to purchase gold, which is used speed up construction time and instantly purchase certain things such as workers. You have a few options for payment including the use of cellphone air time. The lowest amount of gold you can purchase is 400 for $1.99 USD with the highest being 2,200 Gold for $7.99 USD. Not badly priced, however the cost to speed things up does get costly. This kind of feature does ofcourse open the game up to peolpe that pay gaining a large advantage over those that do not. Gold is also a random resource that you get from resource epeditions (The method of gathering the other required resources)
Key Features: Resource Management, Base Building (Grid System), Mech combat.
Community Review: The community seems to be a mixed bunch of people, the usual hostile people and occasional friendly, I was unable to participate in the local chat often as I kept getting disconnected from the chat server.
Tutorial Review: When logging in to the game for the first time, you are presented with a wall of text, that I closed by accident and had to wing it from there. There is a help icon that takes you to an in game wiki, but I only discovered this towards the end of my play time.
General Review
I found the game to be very slow paced. At the start the only thing you can do is follow a pre-set path of building one structure, then upgrading your main structure to get to the next. As it is you have to upgrade your main structure to level 5 before you can even start to build mech factories. I suppose if you sat and stared at your screen waiting for the timers to go down you could achieve this much faster, however the nature of these games requires you to wait, for me this took nearly 3 days of randomly checking in ever hour or so to get to the point I could build mechs. Then you have to split your resources between mech's that attack and defend your base.
Overall I was not impressed with this game, and I felt it was specifically designed to force you to pay gold, and thus purchase more gold to achieve anything. I would be surprised if most new players stuck around long enough to get to the actual point where you're not just sitting around watching timers and harvesting resources.
There where some other features such as the commander, but you had to build a k-lab after getting your main building to level 5 to access this, and by this time I had lost complete interest in the game.
